Celestial Soirée

Step into an evening of wonder at the Portland Waldorf School’s Annual Gala on March 14th at 5pm. This year’s Celestial Soirée invites our community to gather beneath the stars for a night of connection and celebration. Hosted offsite at Castaway, the event will feature a lively silent and live auction, engaging games, a delicious dinner catered by Field Day, and music and dancing to carry us late into the evening. Together, we’ll celebrate the spirit of our school and raise vital funds to support its continued growth and the flourishing of our students. We can’t wait to share this luminous night with you.

Where is the gala taking place?

This year we are switching things up and hosting the gala at Castaway in northwest Portland.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel good. Many people will take this opportunity to dress up! Feel free to get creative and dress for the theme. Most importantly, come as your wonderful self!

What is on the menu?

We will be serving one chicken dinner and one vegan dinner which will be catered by Field Day. More detailed menu to come!

Can I sit with my friends?

All individual and couple tickets will be able to choose any seat at any table which isn't reserved. If you have a group of eight you would like to sit with, you can email Mia with each guest's name to reserve a full table.

What can I expect?

A really good time! When you arrive (doors open at 5pm) there will be an open bar with a signature cocktail, wine, beer, appetizers, games, photobooth, and music. You'll then find a seat in the gym for an amazing meal and the live portion of the program which includes: slideshow, games, raffle drawing, dessert, special appeals, and live auction! Once that excitement is over, it's time for music and dancing! The bar will remain open and you can enjoy socializing with friends new & old and having a proper night out on the town!

Yes, please! There is a donation form button on this page, or you can ask Mia for assistance.

Can I ask others to donate?

Yes! Asking people and businesses that you like and frequent yourself is a great way to support both the school and our local community. You can direct people to our auction website or pick up a form from Mia. Donations are being accepted through Feb 28th.
